MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

       

Membership in the NCLA is open to individuals, churches or libraries of all sizes and denominations who desire assistance with church library development. Supporting memberships are also available and provide a valuable portion of funding for our ministry.

Your membership entitles you to free resources and information including the NCLA quarterly publication Libraries Alive, booklists, guidelines, creative ideas and how-to information on developing, maintaining, and promoting your library.  New members receive a free copy of  A Handbook for Church Librarians, a comprehensive guide that features everything from creating a new library to renovating and managing an established one.

Your membership year begins on January 1. Memberships received after October 1 will be applied to the next calendar year. If you are joining during the year, you will receive back issues of the NCLA quarterly publication, Libraries Alive, and materials for that calendar year.

Corporate members receive a subscription to Libraries Alive, a 20% discount on advertising, and invitations to participate at regional and national conferences.
